Safety Policy

Suikerbos provides Massage Therapy treatments with the goal of promoting wellness, relaxation and pain relief ONLY. Any and all inappropriate gestures, comments, behaviours or advances of a sexual, discriminatory or disrespectful nature WILL NOT BE tolerated whatsoever. In such an event the session will be cancelled immediately and the proper authorities will be notified. The client will also be held responsible for the full amount of the service and will be denied any further services.

Privacy Policy

To complete a booking with Suikerbos clients are expected to share certain personal data. Suikerbos considers it of great importance that this information is carefully processed and be kept private and adheres to the requirments outlined by privacy legislation.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so via email at least 24 hours prior to the start of your appointment time. Cancellations made prior to the 24 hour mark are entitled to the full amount in the form of a voucher to be used at a later date. 

All cancellations and rescheduling requests within 24 hours of the start of the appointment will incur a 100% charge of the total price of the reservation. Any booking that has been made in less than 24 hours of the start of the session cannot be changed and is final. 

In the event that the therapist arrives at your location but the person for whom the appointment was intended is not present, it will be considered a "no show" and no refund is applicable.

Gift Cards Policy

In the purchase of any Gift Card, it is important to note that "Pay on Delivery" is not a valid option of payment. Only direct card payments and bank transfers are accepted.

Gift cards can be cancelled and refunded within 2 weeks of the purchase date, provided the gift card has not been used to book an appointment. Gift cards issued by Suikerbos are valid for the maximum of a 12-month period and are transferrable. Gift cards represent a certain value to be spent exclusively at Suikerbos. When using a gift card as payment for an appointment the value of the gift card is deducted from the total amount payable and any monies still owed are payable via bank transfer or card payment. Balances remaining on the gift card remain the ownership of the card holder until the expiry date.

Health Concerns

If you or a person in your household are feeling sick or have tested positive for Covid-19, please reschedule. Suikerbos reserves the right to reschedule an appointment if the therapist arrives and discovers that the client is sick. The client will be liable for a 50% charge of the full amount of the session.

Please be advised that the Suikerbos accepts no responsibility in the event that the client suffers from a medical condition and the session cannot continue and it is advised that the client first get permission from their general practitioner. The client consents to receiving Massage Therapy from the Suikerbos therapist at their own risk - Suikerbos accepts no liability for any health concerns the client may have or any repercussions from the Massage Therapy. Suikerbos prides itself on keeping open communication with the client and does not take responsibility for non-communicated concerns. 

Bad Weather Policy

Suikerbos reserves the right to reschedule an appointment during risky weather conditions such as snow, below freezing and ice. Safety first.

When you book an appointment with Suikerbos you consent to receiving a mobile spa massage at your own risk and Suikerbos is not liable for any claims for damages to goods, properties or persons that may occur prior to, during, or after the session. On booking with Suikerbos the client accepts responsibility for their health and as well as the communication of any and all relevant information to the Suikerbos therapist, prior to and during the appointment.
